The Event Sponsor, Jacob Anderson, agrees to pay the fees indicated above.
Insurance
The Event Sponsor, Jacob Anderson, must provide a certificate of insurance naming the Anderson Island Historical Society as an additional insured for the date(s) of the event. This certificate of insurance must be verified by the AIHS Events Director, and recorded in this Event Contract.
Indemnification
The Event Sponsor, Jacob Anderson, agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the Anderson Island Historical Society, its Board Members, agents, and volunteers from all suits and actions, including reasonable attorneys' fees and all costs of litigation and judgment of every name and description against the Society as a result of loss, damage or injury to persons or property or violation of government regulations occurring during any phase of the event.
The Event Sponsor, Jacob Anderson, as an authorized representative of Island Arts, represents and warrants that they are duly authorized to bind Island Arts to the terms of this agreement, and are authorized to act as their agent in the signing of this agreement.
Damage
An appropriate charge will be deducted from the damage deposit for any damage to the facilities, equipment or furnishings.If the cost for repairs exceeds the deposit amount, the Event Sponsor or sponsoring organization will be billed for the excess.
Responsibilities
The Event Coordinator, Jacob Anderson, or their representative, shall be present during every event activity, including preparation, setup, conduct of the event, restoration of the facility and cleanup. The Event Sponsor (Jacob Anderson), Event Coordinator (Jacob Anderson), and the AIHS Liaison (Jacob Anderson), will complete the checklist and signoff at the end of the event. All events are limited to between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
